About the Critic
Sir Benedict has spent decades at the intersection of gastronomy and enology, cataloguing the precise structural compatibility between the foods humans choose to eat and the wines they deserve to drink alongside them. His verdicts are neither kind nor fashionable. They are, however, accurate.
Each pairing is evaluated against four structural axes: acid-fat balance, tannin-protein interaction, aromatic compatibility, and structural harmony. The resulting score — expressed on a 10-point scale — represents the only objective measure of wine pairing quality currently available to the public.
